$Cobra Skin wrap uses our new HPTC coating, allowing it to sustain 1350F continuously. In addition to increased temperature parameters, it also allows the wrap to remain flexible and strong. For most header wraps the fiberglass will become weak and brittle at 1000F, coatings will extend the base temp to 1200F, but the fibers will still become brittle. With our new coating, not only does it give the fiberglass a higher rated temperature of 1350F, but it allows the fibers to remain flexible. Flexible fibers will expand and contract with the metal of the exhaust system, ensuring long term maximum heat retention and a longer life! The coating also gives our wraps an increased abrasion resistance even at 1350F and results less fraying when cutting, installing, fewer loose fibers, and less itch. The black HPTC is deep black and it stays deep black after it has been heat cycled.Cobra Exhaust Wrap features a special weave making it easier to wrap around bends in pipes compared to conventional exhaust wraps. This unique transverse exhaust system is completely constructed from durable, long lasting stainless steel. The free-flowing stainless steel muffler is designed to unleash all available horsepower and torque while producing a powerful sound, with no annoying drone in the cabin. The stainless steel exhaust tubes are mandrel bent to ensure smooth bends and to make sure the pipe maintains its size and shape throughout the entire length. Tubes that aren't mandrel bent can lose a percentage of their diameter in sharp bends, creating restriction and reducing exhaust flow. As the perfect finishing touch, this exhaust system sports dual oval double-wall 304 polished stainless steel exhaust tips.
To ensure a hassle-free installation, this exhaust system utilizes all of the factory mounting locations. High quality band clamps are included for a complete 360-degree sealing surface. This system is backed by a 2-year limited warranty and it's engineered and manufactured in the USA.

Takeda warrants their products to be free from manufacturer's defects due to workmanship and material. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase of the aFe product is required for all warranty claims. Warranty is valid provided aFe instructions for installation and/or cleaning were properly followed. Proper maintenance with regular inspections of product is required to insure warranty coverage. Damage due to improper installation, abuse, unauthorized repair or alteration is not warranted. Incidental or consequential damages or cost, including installation and removal of part, incurred due to failure of aFe product is not covered under this warranty. All warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement of the Takeda part.
